One of sinvraal's Secret Santa prompts was something involving Spectre Kaidan, and though I didn't even participate in this year's exchange, the idea kept bouncing around my head. Eventually, it collided with another idea I had: a typical "side mission" that you might find in the games but told from the perspective of the person getting rescued. This fic was the result. So... merry belated Christmas, Sin? XD
