Not a tip or a question, but I seriously love my salarian Engineer! <3 He's the only one I've ever extracted from Gold matches. Mostly on those Firebase White w/Geth matches... but he's so good at it!

I love the Salarian Engineer against the Geth he's amazing. Sadly I've found the other Engineers are way more useful in general though because the Reapers and Cerberus tend to ignore his decoy which is so incredibly useful against the Geth :(

I've been taking my human Engineer out on silver a lot recently and have been doing well with her chain overload helping to take down mobs and the always awesome combat drone. There was one stage in a Reaper match where a Banshee and two Brutes crowded around the drone, distracted, while the team took them down with no problem :D

I adore my human engineer. It's the only character I have unlocked that I'm comfortable taking into Silver after only one Bronze match after a promotion/level reset back to one, usually about Level 5. The Overload and Combat Drone are just so damn useful and don't rely on being a good shot or having all the cool toys unlocked.

Does anyone have any ideas for a mostly Shadowstrike-based spec for the N7 Shadow (I think it's a shadow, anyway - the one that is like a Phantom). My boyfriend has promoted his gal 3 times trying to perfect her spec and there's woefully little info out there on what exact powers to spec into. That we can find, anyway. Bonus points for suggestions on weapons and whatnot as well.

Shadow Strike uses melee damage, not power damage, so power damage only effects electric slash, and IMO that is plenty strong as it is
Actually apparently it is currently bugged and gets power damage too, not just melee, though I have heard people say that it will probably be fixed soon, so currently putting points into Shadow does give extra damage to Strike.
I like your build (used it a few times) because it gives you electric slash too, so you can set up tech explosions with Shadow Strike - I love using Strike against phantoms and nemesis. I brought that build out on Gold but I mainly stuck with using electric slash because it was safer to kill from a distance (and a quicker way to kill mobs of minor enemies than SS) and used strike when viable/as quick way to get to someone who needed a rez.
