Scenes from the Citadel - Community project idea

Greetings lovely ME Comm! I come with an idea for a shared community project. Specifically, a prompt for anyone that wants to try their hand at a short story or artwork! (especially for the first time!?)
I've been thinking a lot about all the ambient dialogues across all three games, and how they add so much to the setting. And remembering how much I just enjoyed running Shepard around the Citadel, seeing such a mix of different aliens and characters. I confess that I create little story ideas for some of my favourite background characters, and I'm wondering if anyone else does the same and would like to share?
The idea is that anyone that wants to join in on a Scenes from... post can provide a short story or piece of artwork that provides a glimpse into one of the minor characters we see across the games. It's a celebration of all the background stuff that certainly made the games seem so vibrant - with plenty of stories to tell.
For the first (trial) run - the prompt is the Citadel. Projects can be set across any of the three games, just choose a background character or one with fairly limited screentime and expand their story. Shepard or squadmates can have walk-on cameos or be mentioned in passing, but I'd really like to see what people come up with for all the backing characters. And maybe Blasto.
I'd like to set a completion date for the 3rd of May - I'll make a post everyone can add their stories, art, Blasto 6 fanmixes, or other assorted projects to. Beginners more than welcome!! It's all friendly and all fun! Serious stories to crack fiction welcome!
And I guess if enough people are interested or enjoy it we can think of new topics/places/people? Drop me a line if there are any ideas/concerns/or if you want to let me know you'll join in! :D
