Kaidan & Sheploo ME1/ME2 Romance - ME3 Sees Ur Mod Thar AND APPROVES

This thread lead to contemplation of Kaidanmance and, further, if ME3 recognizes modded ME1 saves (specifically, DudeShep/Kaidan). Turns out, the answer is yes! ... (If the answer was no, this would've been a really boring post.)

The process is exceedingly easy... at least on PC. I've no clue about how to do this on the consoles.

Stupid question, but I never played with this before - can I take ME1 save and edit it so I replay ME1 starting only before Ilos mission?

Not stupid at all! It's actually a really good question. I just wouldn't know how to do that. :/

I'm not sure if there's an ME1 Save editor, which I think would be required to do what you're looking for.

You're right, unfortunately. ME1 save won't even load into this version of editor. Oh, well. I now have Kaidan photo in my cabin. That makes me pretty happy already will be enough for a while :)
