guilt + zaeed talks alot

With only a few weeks until Mass Effect 3, and limited free time since classes started, this weekend I decided to start an ME2 game where I planned to romance Jack.

I made Emerson Shepard fresh for ME2, and used ME Galaxies to make my ME1 decisions. I made the usual paragon choices, but I decided to have a bit more fun with the romance ones. So I chose to romance Ashley, and then saved Kaidan on Virmire. DRAMA.

But when I got up to Emerson's fancy cabin, Ash's picture was there! I had my moment of, 'OH FUCK WHAT'D I DO WRONG', but then everything confirmed that she was dead. And now that picture will always be there to guilt me until it eventually turned upside down because of Jack.

But really, isn't it kind of a nice storytelling choice the game glitched to make? It's like he has the picture, he's mourning, and then it'll get turned down when he's moved on. Kind of....Perfect actually. (Still makes me feel guilty though....)

P.S: I had just finished a playthrough with my main male Shep, and I had felt like having Zaeed with me all the time, and holy crap, he did every single random party dialogue the game let him. Didn't matter if I also had Miranda or Garrus or a more prevalent character with me, he was always the one to do the talking. It was....weird. And when I took him through the Jack recruitment mission, the whole time he was like 'Oooooooh no! We must save that woman! She could get hurt!' Only, you know, more Zaeed-like.

jack, zaeed massani
