Question about Paragon/Renegade Points in ME1

So I'm doing a completion-ist run-through of ME1 & 2 before ME3 is released. And I'm wondering if it's possible (or a completely ridiculous idea) to attempt to max out both paragon and renegade as much as possible. I play Mass Effect on xbox360 and I have received both Renegade and Paragon assignments in the same playthrough. It was actually pretty easy, I had a look on the ME wiki so that I would know for sure where all the points could be gained. When it came to small things, like talking the Council I always went renegade, so I got a ton of points from assignments. Then when it came to major choices, like Saving the Rachni queen, I went paragon - a major choice like that nets a very good amount of points, so by making by 'big' decisions paragon and the smaller choices that didn't impact the game renegade I managed to get an even amount of points in each.
I unlocked the Renegade mission sometime before Virmire, and after doing Virmire I had enough paragon points to unlock the paragon mission, so I went and did that before going to Ilos. By the time I finished the game I finished off with more paragon points than renegade.
I was a Spacer/War Hero, so I had 20 Paragon from the beginning of the game, and I did put some points into Intimidate + I had the Bring down the Sky DLC.
So anyway, yes, totally possible, but you'll just have to keep a close eye on your choices and do read the Morality Guide on the Wiki so you know what choices get you points ;-)
