Mass Effect Legendary Panel SDCC 2011 I have to admit as much as I agree with retelling the Mass Effect movie since its cementing a 'canon' they've generally tried to avoid up to now. But, as someone who wants to get other friends attached to the mythos, I have to say a successful movie would at least give you something you could point them to if they didn't have the console or the time to play the games and access the story that way.
On thursday, I went to the Bioware area, and they were giving away Liara flyers that had coupon codes on them. Unlike the coupon codes given on the other day, this coupon code has no minimum purchase requirement. So if your interested in 15% off the Biowarestore.com, use the coupon code: Koto. It'll be good until tomorrow, the 26th of July.
Sorry I'm not great at taking pictures as often as I should, but here's a few that I remembered to snap off...
The people working the area were in these super cute N7 uniforms...
I met this Tali on the con floor before the costume contest, and got to interrogate her on how she made the plastic part of her helmet. Turns out she'd used a plastic bottle and a purple pen!
Unsurprisingly I couldn't stop snapping pics of the Garrus who was prowling the booth.
He also ended up posting a video on how the armor was put together for anyone who'd find that relevant to their interests....

There was also some concept art and props that were at one of the booths at the con floor (I think funimation?) that I figured I'd share too. Don't know why the props are there when it is also an animated movie, but I had it from a source in bioware that the trailer is done and looks like it could be revealed to the public sometime soon.
