Since you apparently don't believe your perfectly trustworthy, endearing, lovable crew members, and because curiosity is the hallmark of a distinguished cat;

Where exactly do you all think we're taking you, hmm?

[locked to Janelle // unhackable]

Mm, I believe we do. Should I plan on seeing you this night or the next?

I'm available at any time, madam.

Ah, well if that is the case...I believe I can be ready in perhaps fifty to sixty minutes if that's agreeable?

That would be quite agreeable, madam.

Excellent. I'll see you shortly, then.

[As promised, she is ready. She's picked up food and drinks from the buffet, the best she can find, as well as some water, and a bucket of ice to chill one of the few remaining bottles of joie from the Midwinter Masque.]

[Pan prepares a table for them in the spa. It's actually fairly romantic, considering the soothing music and faint delicate air of perfume. And, of course, there's Pan himself, still in his monkey suit. Looking dashing as always.

He hasn't had a formal dinner with a lady in a long time, but he's not unduly worried. He knows how awesome he is.]

Ah, Janelle.

[here, let me help with that.]

[She inclines her head as she enters the spa, lets him take the things she's brought, and gives him a smile.]

Good evening, Pan.

[She looks over the table that he's set, breathes in the perfumed air and for a moment, feels as if she's wandered into a receiving room of Bryony House. The attention to detail is something Janelle hadn't even realized she missed.]

...this is lovely, Pan.

Even more so, now.

[yeah he's smooooth. He quickly sets up the food, including candles along with it. His personal opinion is that if one is going to do something, one might as well go all the way. Right?]

Shall we?

Yes, please.

[Janelle certainly appreciated the effort he'd put into the evening and she took his hand as he offered it, following him to the table. After he pulled her chair out and she sat, Janelle folded her hands in her lap and she looked over to the bottle of joie she'd brought.]

I couldn't recall if you liked this when at the masquerade but considered it wouldn't hurt to bring it along...

Ah, I couldn't refuse a drink from a lovely woman.

[he seats himself and pours them both glasses, raises his own, meeting her eyes.]

A toast?

You couldn't, hm?

[Janelle's smile turned to teasing and she lifted her glass.]

A toast indeed, but to what, Pan?

And I wouldn't want to.

[her smile is returned, his matching her coy look. He knows how to play this game.]

To the Golden Shore, and to pleasurable company.

Mm, lucky me.

[Janelle lifts her glass a fraction higher and inclines her head.]

To our destination and those that travel with us.

[She brought the glass to her lips, sipped as her lips curved into a smile. Perhaps she'd meant something other than the Golden Shore?]

[he sips the joie as well, keeping his eyes on her. She's quite lovely, outside as well as in, and he enjoys her company, promises of something more or no.

You know what is also cool? Having thumbs so you can pick up your fork and twirl it.]

[She watched him use his fingers, something he rarely had use of, to twirl his fork about and smiled. Setting down her glass, she began eating with an amused smile on her face.]

Is there always a period of adjustment for you when you return to your current form...?

[twirl twirl twirl. He appears not to notice her amusement; thumbs are awesome.]

It happens instantaneously, physically. But it is...an unusual sensation.
