i saw Alexander last night. 2 thumbs down. Colin Farrell apparently [in an interview] gained an english accent for the role [that's a negative, he was irish the entire way through], Angelina had an accent that was unidentifiable, there was one Macedonian man that had a blatant scottish accent, and the rest were british! listen you fools, you are being paid millions of dollars to play a part, LEARN THE RIGHT ACCENT. i also was unimpressed with the 'ball slap against the thigh scene' and the 'boy on boy kiss' scene. Oh! and how can I forget the fact that the Persian leader looked like the puppet actor from Team America World Police, it was near impossible not to laugh. The pretty american dressed as the persian with too much facial hair and eyeliner...COME ON. all in all, it was overproduced and crap...not to mention too long. [people didn't pour out of the theatres during Braveheart did they?] no. they didn't. well, they did last night...Oliver Stone, you failed me now. the only (+)s were:
