My room is under siege by an army of roly polies that attacked suddenly and en masse. I just went through with a broom and dustpan and removed what I'm honestly and conservatively estimating at well over 200 of them. I wouldn't feel uncomfortable saying it was probably closer to 300.

By the time I make my way around the room and back to the same spot again, their numbers have replenished, so I could probably do this all morning to get up to about whatever number I felt like. This is as ridiculous as it is disgusting.

The internet says that this generally happens as a result of moisture-related issues, as they live in moist dirt, but I don't see how that's applicable here. My floor is concrete, and while the humidity is very high most of the time, I don't think it's any worse than it is outside. I even have two dehumidifiers running most of the time.

On the plus side, I'll probably be moving in the next few months. I'll be so glad to be rid of all the random major inconveniences that befall this room.
