Can I change the time of day and summon a horse now?
I got an ocarina in the mail today. Actually, I got two. They're both cheap and plastic, but for cheap plastic ocarinas, they actually sound pretty nice. I've considered getting an ocarina several times over the last few years or so, and I guess I finally decided it was time to try something different, as well as far cheaper and less electronically complicated than guitar. It's fun so far. I can already play a few songs from Ocarina of Time. The funny thing is that I'm already using its full range and wishing I could go further in both directions. I guess that's just what happens when someone goes from an instrument with a range of five octaves to one with a range of one and a half octaves. I wonder how many ocarina players there are who also play heavily detuned heavy metal guitar.
