Brainstorm! ...Well, brain drizzle, anyway
WOO HOO! Just read Cat Feral’s lovely little story From the Desk of Rita Skeeter. Brilliant, brilliant fic. It answers the question: If that Skeeter cow - sorry, Professor - wanted to ruin Minerva McGonagall’s reputation, how would she go about it? It’s scary how some authors get inside characters’ heads. Anyway, it got me thinking...how would someone ruin Rita’s reputation? And...whatif Hogwarts had its own newspaper? The second idea has probably already been thought of, but...nyah. For some weird reason, it also got me thinking about how funny it would be if there were like a showdown or something betwen Skeeter and Mr. Lovegood. Just the merest thread of an idea on that one. My mind flipped back to the scene in OoTP where Hermione meets up with Skeeter to coerce demand suggest telling Harry's side of the story, and Luna's there and Harry's there and you were there, and you, and you, and oh Auntie Min there's no place like Hogwarts...
