more eavesdropping
This time, Rodney (slywinkle ) is the culprit. He sent me this txt yesterday:
Overheard at [Starbucks]:
- "Sir, you want all the milks? Whole, skim..."
- "Yeah, all the milks."
Me: Hahaha--I take it the barista's first language isn't English?
Rodney: Right you are. I just can't understand why someone needs multiple kinds of milk in one drink, though.
Me: They probably don't. They might just be a jackass.
Maybe that's too judgmental--maybe they were just confused by the question. It's little better, though, because it means they're either a wise-ass or a moron.
