John McCain and Gollum do kind of look alike. They're certainly both pretty creepy-looking when and if they smile.
Also, it seems that Chris Farley might have been better at making a presentation than our congressmen and -women.
The debate ... I don't really understand the headlines this morning regarding the debate. On the cover of the Metro: Aspiring VPs spar, both still standing. And another one I spotted while passing the stands: No fatalities over a massive picture of Biden and Palin.
Actually, the set-up for the debate was equally ridiculous. Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone" to get us in the mood for the Biden/Palin throw-down ... ?
Way to push the hyperbole, assholes. It's a debate--not a cage-match.
