PICNIC POST!
I've been thinking about hiking and picnic-ing recently.
My style, not my family's, in which they do it just so that they can say they did it on the camping trip. and bitch about it. and not want to continue longer on the longer path with the sunlight and wildflowers because theyre lazy and hike back to the camp by the asphalt road instead.
*ahem*
I like walking slowly and staring at things. With constant breaks to stare curiously at things and to sketch and to pick wildflowers and collect acorns and pinecones and cool rocks. And a picnic in a nice clearing.
I think my version sounds lovely. Thus the shopping list.
Firstly, the blanket.

...i honestly cant believe how friggin hard it is to find a plain wicker picnic basket with a lid. No one sells them. They only come in sets with ugly prints and cheap plates with matching ugly prints. Seriously, even the disney store melanine plates are better than that shit. Fuck it. I'll go with the Walt Disney Signature plates. Plus its buy 2 get 25% off. Either
(Sleeping Beauty Inspired) or
(Bambi Inspired).
Methinks the Salad Plate should be plenty for picnic fair. Then a couple of these, which I'm pretty sure are plastic:
