it's not getting better any time soon
Woke up to emails that three members of the crew have quit the project and one actress has sustained a serious injury. Not the most auspicious start to my career as a film writer/director. I can take the loss of the crew members, we'll figure something out or muddle our way through somehow, but I'm really worried about Imogen.
After taking the first part of the day to get ourselves together Penny called some emergency meetings with Jamie (Head of Wardrobe) and Imogen, Logan and Peita. We talked about a lot of things; replacing crew, re-scheduling, communication, mistakes, but all I really remember from the proceedings is making sure that Imogen's heat pack was kept warm.
The amusing highlight of the evening was the drive home. Logan, who had driven Peita and Imogen to the meeting, offered to drop me back at the apartment. It was the first time in a long time that I'd been outnumbered by straight girls!
