murmur
i recently found out i have a heart murmur. what is a heart murmur you ask? well a hear murmur is a general term for any extra noise your heart may make. such as a delay in a valve or something. well i had an echo-cardiogram, which is a sonigram of my heart. that got sent off to a cardiologist, and then i met the cardiologist today, went in for a more through checking over.
well it seems i am not dieing. phew. what i have is an aortic regurgitation. that means that one of my valves dosent quite close all the way and a little blood backflows. so i have another echo in a year, and if that shows no change i get to live! if it gets worse i will have to have a valve replaced in 60 or so years. so yeah, im alive and well. and i havent posted on LJ in for freaking ever.
