Great Morning...Great Show last night!!!!
Last Nights show was soooo fuckin awesome!!!! Pat never ceases to amaze me with her voice and her music. WOW! I had to laugh though; I was probably one of the youngest people there at the show. And the women…hahaha…they all seemed to look like they just fell out of the eighties with their big poofy hair…rock T-shirts and tight jeans. I felt like I was surrounded by Warrant / Poison groupies! Lol So I took my father to the show and my best friend Jeff. My father made his way to the bar, and Jeff and I made our way to the stage so I could get right in front. I was so close I could literally reach out and touch her. So my friend Jeff and I were dancing and singing and this really cute guy walks up behind us. An older gentleman, but he was sooo cute! (I like my men a lil older than myself…hehe) He was explaining how he waited 20 years to see Pat Benatar in concert and how he was so excited to be there. Then he’s like “My other half” is upstairs. I looked at my friend Jeff and just gave him that look. This guy may have been in his mid to late 30’s….nice dark tan…lightweight linen shirt unbuttoned enough to see his beautiful hairy chest. I’m a sucker for a man with a nice hairy chest! So were chatting and he says his boyfriend is upstairs cause he wasn’t a big Pat Benatar fan….I was like cool..stay here…I was cruising him big time. So between literally being on the stage right next to Pat, the fabulous music, and standing close (really close now) next to this hot guy…I was in heaven!!! And he smelt good too!! Another big turn on for me…smelled so good you could just eat him up. WOOOOOF!! Sadly enough just before Pat’s last song the hot guy stepped away and I lost track of him. Most likely went back to the other half.
Oh, I almost forgot…so at the Rams Head …they make an announcement that there is no photography allowed and I respected that. I had my camera phone along just in case. Well during the show I noticed a few people taking video and pics. I was like …ok...since other people are taking pics, I want to take a few myself. So I pull out my camera phone and start snapping pictures. Well damnit...with my luck...a bouncer (another cute guy I might add) noticed me taking pics and literally dragged me from the crowd and demanded I erase the pictures. I thought I was going to get thrown out…haha…so then he took my phone and erased them…I was like what a dickhead!! But was kind of glad I didn’t get thrown out…cause at that moment pat started singing Love is a battlefield (in the original key from the 80’s I might add…which she oddly doesn’t do anymore..in her recent years, she made that song a ballad….but she did it as it was meant to be song and I was ecstatic).
So all in all in was a great show and for all you Pat Benatar fans out there…she opened with: We live for Love and closed with: All fired up (my favorite song).
