So I'm in Florence. And I'm bored. I hurt my ankel on our stairs in the hotel room today. Oh man! I almost forgot. We have a two story hotel room. It's so, so nice and I love it. But, the bathroom is downstairs, which is kind of incovienent. I was going to go see some Italian movie but I decided to eat gelato and come to an interent cafe instead. I really love Europe. The worst thing about it is that everyone smokes everywhere. So far, Barcelona is my favorite. I love the aquarium there. It rocks so much. Only a few people went from our group because it cost 13:50 € to get in. (Excuse for using Euro sign) Oh man, the funniest thing happened. We were staying in Nime and some people wanted to see what Josh H.'s hair would look like straightened. Well, he looked like a girl. So they put his hair up in pigtails, and he decided to flash people outside of the window. So he sees this guy, and flashes him. Next thing we know, there's a big crash. The guy falls off his bicycle, picks it up, and runs off. It was the funniest thing ever. Ms. Bennigton called me Emily up until 2 days ago when Ms. Sabbagh was like "Her name's Elizabeth." Why people always think my name is Emily is beyond me, but whatever. I've taken a ton of pictures, and I can't wait to get them developed. So far, Barcelona is my favorite, with Madrid being a close second. All the rest of the places were pretty cool, but I really loved Barcelona. Oh man, our one day tour guide in Madrid was so awesome. His name was Javier, and he was wearing all brown. We were at this one palace and he was talking about this room and he said that it's the place where the first porn movie was shown in Spain, which was kind of not like normal tour guide stuff. And then he said, "I'm a dirty, dirty man!" He was the best. Our other tour guides kind of sucked. The one for Barcelona was boring and impatient, and the one in Florence was nice, but she was kind of boring too. I have 20 minutes left on this card thing here. I really love Europe. We go to Rome tomorrow and Sunday, and on Monday, we fly home! I don't want to go back to school!
OH! Madrid has the coolest park ever. We went there in our 9 hours of free time, and it had the greatest playground. I mean, we must have spent at least an hour in their just riding on the little kids things. I finally got some stamps today, so I'll mail Miki's postcard tomorrow most likely. I want a smart car so much. They are so small and so cute! But most of the cars here run on diesel instead of whatever American cars run on.
This is probably really confusing, but I'm tired. And despite common belief, the French weren't snooty at all. They were incredibly nice and polite. As were the Spainards, and the Italians are pretty nice too. I hate the bathrooms in Europe. The showers confuse the crap out of me. And the toliets change from place to place on where you're supposed to flush them.
I've drank a lot of orange soda here, the best being Kas Naraja in Spain. The bottles are really cool too. Tapas bars are....interesting. We had good tapas the first night, but when we were in Zaragoza, they weren't so great anymore. Um...OH! Strawberry orbit gum. BEST STUFF EVER! I'm in love with it, but I can't find it now that I'm not in Spain anymore. They have the orange and banana flavors and other flavors, but not strawberry. My time is coming close to being overwith, but I still have until 8:30 to do stuff. It's 6:46 PM here right now. I am not looking foward to our return plane ride. I think I'll be ok as long as I don't have to sit in the middle of a seat. Uncomfortable to sleep it was.
AH! I almost forgot. Our bus driver is super hot. He's Italian and his name is Andrea. And whoa buddy. He's sexy. Sure, he's 26, doesn't speak much English, smokes a lot, and drives a tour bus. He's still damn sexy, and he smells really good.
