:-) It's actually me doing vocals, not MtM. She'll be performing it, but I wanted to see what other people thought of it, and I was able to record it in a quiet house.
The speed is a little screwed up, since I've NEVER used a proper metronome or anything, and I had to record just keyboard on my mp3, without being able to even hum it. I had to keep quiet, so I was having a bit of difficultly focusing on speed. Then, I recorded vocals, so it was a bit too fast for comfort.
SS sound? Pwnage...I actually thought the riffs sound a bit too Evanescence, to be honest. And though I thoroughly enjoy the actual music for Evanescence, the vocals are not something I strive for.
I've never focused on diction before, I had to keep trying to fix my tone/control/breath/etc. I'll add diction to my list. Although I'm sure that with a proper mic, you could understand me better than Tarja. ;-)
Notes - DICTIONDICTIONDICTION. Make chorus/bridge thingy BIGGER. Maybe a nice drum addition would suffice? I'll have to snatch up one of the billions of guitarists in the world, too...Ooooh...*has fun imagining the sound*
