christmas. blessings.

i got a phone call around 4 today, asking if i could help people from my youth group feed the homeless like an hour later. i've done this kind of thing before, but it was really...cool? (im not sure what word to put there)

i had the normal response: "wow, these people have so little, and they're still happy" (after all, we served taco salad..who wouldnt be happy?) but once we cleaned up and started walking back to our cars to go home, i saw something else: 2 women getting ready to sleep on the sidewalk. yeah, in the movies, the hobos huddle around a fire and they're like family, but this was real. they had a blanket, a few bags, some extra taco salad, and each other.

i've wanted to post a "stuff i like" list, if for anything, just to sort stuff out. but now ive re-titled it...enjoy, and comment with your own...
