fall is here! at least, if feels like it. im pretty sure this is the best time of the year.
At the begining of my senior year, i thought to myself (prob outloud)..."After high school, things are gonna be different. It'll be time to be an adult". so i tried to make the most of everything and catch up on stuff usually reserved for kids who still get excited over a HappyMeal toy.
Lists of accomplishments usually come around the last day of December, but today, i was walking out of American History, where i had just bombed a quiz, and the wind was blowing and everything else. its bon fire time! (okay, maybe im getting a little carried away)
so, my list. here goes...
-i went trick-or-treating for the first time. as a bum (Sami, Jenn, & me should've started out own Hobo Camp).
-i rediscovered the beach. i dont know how many times we went to st.armands just to look at all the cool stuff (i got a parking ticket like every time tho). and running...to nowhere. and a BBQ! seriously, the beach is better at night.
-i saw a lot of theater stuff. the venice little theater, the crosley mansion, the FAME thing with elise...
-made new friends in drama (along with the "old" ones)! starbucks became a habit.
-Hans moved down. Hans and Jolene got engaged. Hans and Jolene got married.
-Yoder's kinda became "our" breakfast spot. (peanut butter pie pancakes are not a healthy addiction)
-i took a ton of pictures. of random stuff. they'll prob never be developed, but i think they're cool.
-i still work at big olaf. kinda regret that one...
-GRADUATED! my "13 year clock" now sits by my window and collects dust.
-went to AMAZING costa rica
-didn't try to hard with the whole "college search" deal, so its MCC for this semester. please, God, not the spring.
-killed the crappy car. got a new one. spun off the interstate 2 days later.
