ahh...its the end of spring break. after two weeks of no school (plus the week of the play - and i didnt pay attention in class then, so i guess that makes three), we're going back. even with all the work (i am getting really tired of old snowbirds, amish people, and youth groups that decide to come get ice cream at 9:29), this spring break has been great. and this weekend was "the perfect ending" - elise's "Casino Party" was fun. i learned how to play poker and other games...well, people tried to teach me, and i still lost, but i had fun trying. and today we just walked around marina jack. funny how the stuff you did as a little kid is fun again...we saw those fountain things and we climbed on those rocks that hurt your feet but you take your flip flops off anyway...i was only there for an hour because i had to go to church early to practice for Easter sunday (which is already next week - this year is going by really fast!). after four years, i think i know the Hallelujah Chorus. kinda boring, and the director is a little...old, but hey, its Easter, and its gonna be fun. (i never figured out why Easter services are so early...nick tried to call me to wake me up at 7:00 for church today because im always late, and it seems so EARLY!)
have to go to bed early now. its time to "get back in the routine". can we skip the whole "school" part of school, and just spend time "deepening our friendships", because i doubt ill be learning much from here on out...
