1. This icon and the
TOTALLY FIERCE COMIC from whence it came.
2. The fact that when I got a jury summons today, shortly following the initial "Oh fuck, jury duty?" reaction were the following thoughts: "Veronica Mars had jury duty on Christmas!" and "Jim Beaver was so awesomely gung ho about jury duty on his Twitter! I wish I had it in me to be that gracious a citizen."
2. a) The fact that when I told
sockkiah about the summons, her first reaction was "Veronica Mars had jury duty on Christmas!" I fear love our hivemind.
3. This sudden break from the anti-social, completely exhausted mood I've been fighting off for the last month. I don't know if it's a temporary window or the actual end of this funk, but being on LJ without feeling like I'm going to explode from too much human contact? GOOD THING. PLEASE DO MORE OF THIS, BRAIN!
4. My Sims 3 households: Dexter and Deb Morgan, the cast of Ten Inch Hero, and a few of the main characters from Mercedes Lackey's Magic's Pawn (The error message "Moondance needs counter space to prepare waffles" is LITERALLY MY FAVORITE THING right now). It's my goal to slowly fill up Sunset Valley with fictional characters of various sorts, including some of my own, and bask in the ensuing chaos.
4. a) I may have to have multiple Supernatural-based households. The canon characters are a must, of course, but I also have a driving need to have a household that's Sam, Dean, and the clones from
The Wellspring Verse. SHUT UP IT'D BE ADORABLE AND YOU GODDAMN KNOW IT. SAM WOULD MAKE THE KIDS WAFFLES ALL THE TIME.
5. This outline I've got staring back at me from Scrivener. It's the first complete, workable, scene-by-scene outline I've had for the rest of my ridiculous little Chuck verse, and by god I think it may even be good. No way I'll get it all written by the time Supernatural starts airing again, like I'd originally planned, but I'm okay with that. Had I gotten it done last month, I wouldn't've liked it. This way's better.
