Hey, he graduated the same year I did!

Only... it was nice of them to give him a graduation cap and everything with his GED.

I feel like everything is partly my fault these days. But if I ever write the Weekend at Bernie's fic, that'll be partly your fault. :D

Pssh, he got his GED in the 90's. The cap is from when he got his Professorship in SCIENCE. It was how he proved to his dad he was capable enough to be hunting monsters on his own.

FACT: monsters are afraid of SCIENCE.

But then it was still like another year before his dad would let him have the Impala. First he had to go teach his son who he actually loved how to drive.

DEAN COULDN'T EVEN MAKE JOHN LOVE HIM WITH SCIENCE! IT'S ALL SO HEARTBREAKING, SOMEBODY HOLD ME!

But yeah, SCIENCE is always proving that monsters don't exist, and then whooshing them into non-existence. It's very scary. For monsters.

Also for people when they have exams.

John was secretly intimidated by Dean's knowledge of SCIENCE, because one time he had a really stressful exam and it left him with some traumatic memories. It's tragic, really.

Wasn't Adam pre-med? John would've stopped loving him eventually for his SCIENCE, too.

I'm belatedly butting in here, but doesn't that, by your own logic mean that JOHN is in fact, a MONSTER? SCIENTIFICALLY?

Nah, he just has the fear of SCIENCE in common with monsters is all.

Don't tell him he has something in common with monsters, though. He'd be very upset. John's kind of an emotional guy.
