I just got back from my first presentation - the launch of the Free Space game for the weekend.
Assuming I can (a) get a network connection and (b) think of some good ideas, I look forward to participating. Participating in a game with an actual real world outcome is not something I've done before.
This presentation ended early, so I headed to the Consuite to grab a bite to eat. Sandwich & hard boiled egg(!) in hand (actually, on a plate which was held by my hand), I found a prime seat to watch LN2 ice cream being made. They finished just as I finished eating, so I grabbed some before heading out to walk around.
While I was over at the flyer area, someone invited me to a room party later, and gave me a ribbon to advertise it. I now have a conundrum. Do I wear the ribbon to advertise the party, knowing that I will most likely not attend the room party? Or, does wearing the ribbon imply that I have or will have the experience in question, such that wearing it is basically a lie?
