Role Call
Now that my exams are nearly over, I have more time to devote to the Game.
I know most of you US types (those of you who are in school, anyway) are on your summer break now, so hopefully you'll have more time to check over the game too. As you know, it has been moving pretty sluggishly so far, but we've got our trio now, and a few of the other important characters, so I'd say we're well set for a proper start.
I'd like to ask you all to please do a role call here, just so we know people are still around/watching. Once we establish that, Sabby and I plan to initiate a weekly (or perhaps fortnightly) RP drive, whereby you each get paired with someone random, and get to play out a scene with them (no matter how brief). Hopefully this will encourage interaction and give us somewhere to go from.
I also strongly encourage people to (if you haven't already) add players on to your AIM/MSN/Yahoo! etc contact lists, or talk to them via this community, to get scenes going. Interaction, especially for students, is a little limited right now since the kids aren't back at Hogwarts, but there are still plenty of places they could run in to one another.
Open threads are another good way to do this - I have one up right now, so if anyone wants to go and accost Pansy in Knockturn Alley, go right ahead.
Also don't forget to make journal entries - another great way to drum up some bizarre, random interactions.
Last but not least, as Sabby said last mod update, please do pimp the game. Pimp it here, there and everywhere. If there is a specific character you'd like for your character to interact with, feel free to pimp specifically for that character. If you have friends from other games who are in the market for a new one, pimp it out to them. Be shameless. We will love you for it.
