Finalsfinalsfinals

Hiya. I'm sitting at my desk with the curved part of a candy cane in my mouth trying to not choke/stab myself (damn those things get sharp...) wearing a dress and jeans and sneakers with no socks, and trying to pretend my theory book isnt glaring at me from the other side of the room... ahhhhh finals week.
Five down, one to go!!! Music theory is on Friday and hopefully I pass it because I got a D minus on the midterm and can't understand a word my teacher says in class because he's really old and gets confused when he is speaking a lot, and he has a comb-over that always flops to the side and it's very distracting. So its totally not my fault if I fail... or not. Fucking applied dominant flat 6th stupid things... ugh.
So i'm probably going to get As in Musicianship, French, Music History, Choir, and Playwriting, a B in Piano, and an F in music theory. Lovely.
What else is new???
We took our subleaser to court, where they told him he couldn't just not pay his rent because he didn't feel like it, so we won and he finally paid.
I started the Pterodactyl Revolution. (Roar!!!!)
Zach and I are spectacularly wonderful, too the extent that I feel like I need to start a fight or something because we've only had one in over a year and that can't be normal...
I just bought a box of markers and have been drawing all over everything and its SO FUN.
I really, really, really need to do laundry but I feel like it's not worth it because i'm going home in three days.
I wrote a play! It's called "The One Handed Pianist".
I officially am a music major now, except now I want to double in playwriting again...
It's almost winter break...
oh, and I AM GOING TO ISRAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited. It doesn't feel real. I have wanted to go there for so long that it doesnt seem like it's an actual place, or that i'm actually going to be there. I don't think i'll believe it until i'm there, and then even, maybe not!
Lost needs to come back because i'm having serious withdrawls.
My room mate got me addicted to Scrubs. She has the dvds of every episode ever and they're all hilarious... Zach Braff is SOOO much better in Scrubs than in garden state.

Ummmmmm i'm still trying to not do theory studying.... i think i might have to though. ew. I think after it is over on Friday, I am going to explode, or collapse, or scream, or drink a lot. And sleep.
Oooh sleep :)

Last night, I had a dream that there were hundreds of people, including myself, in bathing suits on a snow covered mountain, like we'd been skiing, but there was an avalanche. Me and two other people were holding onto this metal bar we found so we wouldn't get stuck in the avalanche, and we had to jump off of it at the exact right time so we wouldn't get hurt in the avalanche. So while we were waiting, watching all these hundreds of people trying to survive, everybody started changing colors. Nobody realized it was happening to them except me, and I thought it was perfectly normal. The girl next to me was like "oh my god Amanda, you're red!" She was blue. But i didn't think it was anything out of the ordinary so I was like "Yeah, I know", and the guy on the other side of me was Green and he was looking at me like he'd never seen a color changing person before either, and nobody realized they had also changed a different color and i didn't seem to think it was important to tell them. I was also completely calm in the middle of this avalanche. And as soon as the color changing happened, everyone was more freaked out by that than the avalanche. It was very weird. I was just totally calm for the entire thing and everyone else was freaking out over things that didn't really need worrying over. It was nice.
Then, my room mate woke me up and it was 7:30 and she was like "Isn't your final at 8?" And I was like "Fuck!" and got there really quickly.

It was weird to go from being completely calm to be frantically worried about my final in a second.

Anywayyyyyyy... no more procrastinating!!! Music Theory
