Community Poll
We've been having more and more entries to the challenges recently, which is great! Several of you have been commenting, when you vote, that it's hard to pick only three icons when there are so many to choose from. So, we have a few options:
-Keep voting the same way we've always done
-Vote for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places on challenges that have 20 or more entries
-Vote for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and special category on challenges that have 20 or more entries
What do I mean by "special category"? This means you would vote for the usual top three, and then an icon you think has the best _________ (coloring, text, cropping, creativity, originality, etc...it would change with each challenge). Iconmakers would know the category beforehand - with each new challenge I would say something like, if we have 20 or more entries this week's special category will be _______. You would not be required to submit icons that adhered to the special category (so, if the category were text, you wouldn't have to put text on your icons - you'd just know your icons would not be in the running for the special category that week). For voting purposes, it would be possible for an icon to win both a top three place and the special category.
