Heeeey, ok, so remember when I was still active in Supernatural fandom? No? Well considering most of the people reading this are SGA fans that's not surprising. But ANYWAYS, a while back
truelyesoteric an
epic crack fic where Jared and Jensen got turned into My Little Ponies. I made some appropriately rainbow-coloured art for it, and now
reena-jenkins has made a podfic, and used my art for the cover! I think this is the first time I've ever been podficced (indirectly, but still!).
Claiming posts. The worst part of organizing a big bang. I actually like the tedious coding and making spreadsheets and things like that, but the claiming is just insane! I honestly don't know how mods at the bigger comms do it. I mean, there are 25 artists and 38 authors. That's pretty small for a big bang. I know I have co-mods (waves to
chkc and
reddwarfer) but *control freak talking here* I still can't seem to stop from doing everything myself.
I guess for the next (hypothetical) round, I could get someone else to do it, but that means that I would have to find someone as obsessively internet-connected as I am. And, you know, there's that whole controlling thing too.
But I did manage to give everyone something in their top 5 so far, so yay! And I think next year I'm just gonna scrap the whole "pick again or wait" things, because I think like, ONE person chose to pick again last year, and the process just slows down the whole claiming.
And one question: do you prefer having the "Crossposted by Dreamwidth"/"Crossposted to LiveJournal" footers at the bottom of the entries or would you prefer to read your dwcircle/flist without them? I personally leave them out because I like to keep clutter to a minimum, but I know some people like to follow discussions across journalling sites.
