So many fandoms to talk about
I've been wanting to post these ep reactions for like a week now, but I'm still trying to get caught up on school after my week of being sick.
Being Human I love this show so much. I'm still working on getting a picspam together, but look at this!
HOW ADORABLE ARE THEY?
More thoughts:
-I can't stand watching Russell Tovey cry. He just breaks my heart into tiny little pieces :(
-It looks like the Annie/Mitchell ship is going in a way that I'm ok with. I still don't buy the OTP/it's meant to be mentality that seems to be taking over tumblr lately, but I can see a relationship forming.
-Adam. Or more specifically, his parents. His poor, poor parents. I still don't like him, but I'm so glad he decided to stick it out in the end.
-picking out UK actors that I've seen in other shows is almost as fun as picking out Canadian actors from US sci-fi
-the end of S2 was pretty heavy stuff, so I'm glad that the start of S3 brought back some of the humor that hooked me in the first place
Being Human US I thought the pilot was pretty boring, but I gave the show another go when it was on TV one day. It's gotten worse. While the pilot just made me meh the second episode made me cringe. Everyone is way too melodramatic in a forced, trying-too-hard sort of way, and so is the music. The whole mood of the show has changed, and so has its sense of humor, and it just doesn't have that charm that the original has.
And this one exchange I saw, between not!Mitchell and not!George's sister was horrible. She just saw George turn into a werewolf, and she's telling him that their mom had some sort of mental breakdown, and now George has his thing, so maybe there family's cursed. not!Mitchell agrees and says everyone is, and she says something to the effect of how would he know, because he's hot? It was just a horrible scene.
Of course I'm probably biased because I love the original to death :P
Hawaii 5-0 I can't get into it. I saw a few episodes and it wasn't bad, but I just found it to be kind of bland, and can't bring up the energy to get excited about it. Also, Danny just has one of those faces that I irrationaly dislike. Like Taylor Swift.
There's this girl in one of my classes who reminds me so much of Taylor Swift, she even sounds like her (talking, IDK about singing) and I know it's really unfair to be judging her solely on appearance, but I can't not. She's probably a really great person and all, but she just has one of those faces.
I don't have a lot of faces I irrationally dislike, but unfortunately Danny's is one of them.
Bones 6.10 and 6.11 spoilers That was the big sniper episode? I didn't think that anyone would be killed off, but the way they were hyping it up made it seem a lot more dramatic. If the sniper doesn't pop up in a later episode I'll be really disappointed. The ending to 6.11 was so abrupt.
The evolution of my thoughts on Bones/Booth:
MY OTP FOREVER --> please just get together already the UST is getting to ridiculous levels --> I know you're going to be together in the end so just get it over with already --> I want them to be happy, even if it's with other people --> I think the writers have pushed them too far apart to make the relationship work anymore, but who am I kidding, I'm still gonna be happy when they hook up
So I actually don't mind Hannah. In theory. In reality the actress seems kind of really awkward at times? But I don't have a hate-on for her like a lot of fans seems to. Hannah seems so kick-ass! I mean, she's like Bones, except with less science and more social grace.
