(no subject)
I'm still taken aback when someone comments on my art with actual thoughts or feelings other than that it made them smile or say "oh that's cute/cool/etc" because in my mind I'm still on the lowlowlow end of the scale* when it comes to actual drawing skill.
Not that I'm against short comments or anything. And this isn't a "woe is me! I suck!" sort of post. It just, boggles my mind sometimes.
*Of course, since most of the artists I regularly follow are professionals of varying levels I guess that's not a very realistic comparison?
