Poor puppy!
I just noticed today that there's a new dog in our building, a good looking Boston Terrier. I was talking to him (her?) and Bobby was yelling at me, she hates it when I use my special pet voice on any other animal. I saw him sitting in the little balcony (think 3-4 sq.m.) two floors below us, pacing back and forth and sniffing disapprovingly at a pile of dog-poop, while flies were buzzing around. :(
I hate it when people get dogs and then don't bother walking them. It happens way too often here, it's criminal. I've seen many cases of dogs spending their whole life on the balcony, rarely going out and having to live right next to their own urine and feces. I remember a case like that on the building across from us. The owner would let the balcony become really nasty before she would hose it out, about once a fortnight or so.
On a side note, I know you're anxiously awaiting to find out the score at our mosquito-killing contest. So far, Maria 41- Dave 24. Woot!
