Is there a reason I absolutely need letters this early in the morning? Barring the fact I've never really received any letters while I've been here, I doubt the urgency of their contents is really worth all the trouble.

I guess it's the 13th, then. Which means tomorrow is Valentine's Day? The Mansion seemed to have celebrated other Holidays, maybe I should get something for Italy. He is here, after all.
On the other hand, after that year -- maybe it's not such a good idea, after all.
Eventually, the borders will open. They've all mentioned it - the fall of communism, the fall of the iron curtain. We can go there together. Rebuild together.
It just feels like I haven't really been able to pay my respects, since the end of the war. The first couple years were so chaotic, and pushing it off seemed logical. Until the borders were all closed, of course.
