This was over a month ago, the day I made my first tandem jump, thank you again Max and Katechka for the bestest birthday gift one can get.
First one was great, second better, and third tandem even "awesomer"
Ground school was a little boring, but as last weekend showed - very useful.
First assisted jump (with my own parachute)  on saturday- scary yet

dude, you need to hear about my level 4, it was super cool, exited at wrong place, radio said - good going, u r not coming to dz, go find safe place to land, bye... Warm feeling on your first landing when you don't know shit... But New Paltz has some sweet fields!!!

more like 10 miles, but 100% not my fault apparently. Tanya disappeared before jump, and Valera Filatov steped in. He does not know the area, of course. We should not have exited where we did, so as i said - as i opened, they told me - ops, not making it here. Liam said I had no chance to begin with, not to mention that there was way too many students on the load and they did not want to deal with me. Hey, i had an almost perfect landing on my own on my first jump, plf but barely, i flared to complete stop due to the grass and stuff, was pretty proud of myself. and funny enough, i had issues with canapy and landing before, well they r gone now... Even though I have so much more work/studying to do. am arching every day, in the weirdest of places. people think me is nuts. i wish it will go as smooth from now on...
i will tell you details one day when i see you, talking about adrenalin rush...

Crazy but extremely cool - where did you jump, somewhere in NY? I've been dreaming about it myself - will need to try next year:)

tandem not so crazy, the real fun starts afterwards when you get to fly on your own
