A week away

Aug 13, 2006 20:01

I've now gone a week without my dear Eli. Still no word from him, but I imagine that they're pretty busy(seeing as how they haven't even finished moving and he's started school). Speaking of a week, we all get to go back to school in a week. This time last year, I actually looked forward to going back, gave me a pattern and the opportunity to see my friends... not so this year. I simply don't want to go back. I would pay off the school to let me stay home and teach myself. Unfortunately, I doubt they will let me do that. One thing I do look forward to: seeing my buddy Gunter again. Whether I'm in his class or not, I will go out of my way and show up late for a class to find him and chat with him(no tardies for a week is the usual anyways...). Oh, and more news for those of you who read this, Jordan McBride came into Mrs. Williams' office Friday while I was there. What does this mean? She is probably moving back, or so she said. Moving on now...

The laws of psychology state that your circle of friends shrinks quickly with age. It appears that over the past year this has been the case for me, whether by moving or just going out of contact with people. There are some people I miss(Eli being one), and many others(who I won't name) that I do not particularly miss.

In the last 8 days I've been sleeping around 2 hours per night(though it's getting better). Now I have a way of functioning without sleep, but it isn't always pretty. So if I say something incoherent, un-Jason, or just flat out stupid, please cut me some slack by blowing it off and telling me to go to bed, okay? Cooperation with this will be greatly appreciated ;)

And with that, I'm done. I'll see you seniors in the morning, I have the strange feeling I'll be there lobbying the administration for a while...
