Hiding Under Rocks Isn't Any Fun Unless Someone Finds You!
Well, it's been a good hot minute since I've jumped onto my page. I've just been so damned busy! Between school, work, and just trying to live, its been a little crazy. Let me fill you in on a few things since I've been away:
1. I lost my fro. Yes, I went and threw some relaxer on the tight stuff and now I have long and flowing tresses. Granted, this was back in September.
2. I HAD a boyfriend: HAD is the operative word. Dated him for a couple of months, things didn't work out so now I'm back on the circuit (Since December)
3. I'm just chillin. Life is good, I still go out but not to the degree that I used to. Some of that mess is just stupid. I went out last night to The Rocket and I felt like I was in Sodom and Gomorrah. I guess it was the look on people's faces when they've drank too much. Bleary eyed and running around like they didn't have any sense.
Speaking of which, I enjoy going out. I just don't enjoy the "feeling like a piece of meat" type of thing. Someone can dress nicely and be admired for dressing nice and being proper. Thats what I like. But when a person goes out and they dress nice and are treated like "The Flavor of the Week", that is something to be questioned. Dang, I sound like an old lady. Well, I am...I'm 25 and the years aren't getting any less. They only go up from this point on. So if I must grow old, then let it go!
