off to Dekalb!

It was a good, relaxing kind of weekend, with a short road trip to boot!
I did get my laundry done yesterday, complete with the washing of the sheets and the remaking of the bed - always a glorious feeling to crawl under the freshly washed and tucked sheets!
I dropped all the Palms in the house in the "deposit old palms here" basket at Church this morning.  There is no truer heralding of Lent than the "deposit old palm here" basket.  Before we know it, we'll have mud on our forehead, and a warning to turn from our sins, and believe in the Gospel.  My first Lent as a real person . . . this shall be interesting.
gaudium_et_spes and I will have to compare notes.
I spent most of the day with my dad; and some with my sister and her boyfriend.  My sister was playing in a concert (string bass) that we actually had to pay money to get into.  I guess she's quite the good bassist.  Also, my camera seems to only like to take bad pictures of me today.  I blame condensation on the lense.  Everything gets back to heat and mass transfer.
Oh well, bed time for me.  Next week should be an interesting one: 6 AM to 2:30 PM work schedule, shift in duties from engineering to, um, factory cleaning (I'll explain more later).  Also, I have received sketching intellegance that my new car should be on US soil.  And there was much rejoicing!
