I just read an email from a customer inquiring information for tickets we're selling for a Broadway show. He said that he would like to get 4 tickets total so that he could bring "the wife and kids".

I just started crying.

I'm too fucking moody lately and still miserably alone feeling.

Oh, I know. I know I don't have anything to complain about.

Sorry.

Well, you could complain about how he isn't me because I am like, the UBERBOYFRIEND!

A litteral Boyfriendinator if you would.

You also aren't here though so it would do me no good even if you were the uberboyfriendinator.

What the hell ever. You -get- to complain. It's a license that comes with the umbilical cord. Dissatisfaction is our birthright.

I think it's telling when even Buddhism, which I think qualifies as 'the most laid-back major religion in the world', says "Things could be better. Here's how you go for it."

In fact, I'm stealing that to put in my journal. So there.

I'm not like the most laid back person in the world. I do try to be, but I still stress out about things. I think it's mostly the mood swings that hit this morning.. It's passed now.. so I'm not worried..

Nono, what I'm saying is the institutionally-calm realm of Buddhism, even THEY say "Things could be better." See? Even the people who say "Take your time, you'll be back. You can get it right next time." say "I want things to change."

Ah, that's true... You do have a point there. That's one thing that I respect about Buddism, the acknowledgement of the way that life is.
