One more Caprica drabble 'Swing Time'
Oops! Here's one more 'Caprica' one that I neglected to post to the actual contest. (Apologies to the people that were hoping for an actual canon Caprica section in the contest.)
Title : Swing Time
Summary: Maybe she really was a little young for him.
She had been nervous about meeting his son even before the waiter had mistaken her for Billy's date and vice versa.
And she had a habit of drinking too much when she was nervous.
Having first met her in a professional capacity - his, not hers - Joe was already aware that when she drank too much she had a tendency to get a little silly.
Which explained her risque - and surely jesting - suggestion for their foursome's after dinner activity.
But it didn't explain Billy's eagerly agreeing.
Or why, in an effort to not look old, Joe was going along with it.
