Asphyxiation Ain't Got Shit on Ted Turner's Son-in-Law

I have a knack for walking into punches.

Tonight I hung out with John Crestani. He's a great dude. When he picked me up tonight, I was feeling like absolute shit, but he shared some words of wisdom with me and the pain went away instantly. Then we met up with Alexa and her friends, and we all went to a party in Malibu.

Alexa had told me it would be cool if I just got drunk and slept at her house, so we stayed out until about 2. What she didn't count on was her dad still being awake when we got home. Her dad immediately didn't like me. Girls' dads in general tend to not like me. And it sure as hell didn't help that he somehow knew I had hooked up with his daughter. (SHE TOLD HER DAD WE HAD HOOKED UP!!!) So at 2 in the morning, he told me I had to take a cab home. I then apologized and told him I'd rather he not think of me as some bum who crashes at random people's houses uninvited, and he was nice about that. He still made me leave, but at least I made a good impression.

About a month ago, I wrote an entry about how I have to "make the best of the hand I've been dealt before I can move forward with my life." I still haven't played that hand. I'm scared to. I don't want my life to be so predictable. I like adventure.

I crave adventure.
