I've figured it out.

Ok I'm posting this here because that way, no one will read it.

I've figured out why I can't stand talking to girls. It's because of all the small talk. Girls my age just don't talk about big issues, or ideas, or even chains of thought. My buddies are my source of small talk. Video games, sports, choice of beers, other random topics. What's going to make or break a relationship are the big issues. That's not information that I can even get out of a chick, let alone agree on it with her. If I can get a conversation on that topic, they just tend to agree with whatever I'm saying, or reside in saying they don't care about issue A or issue B. That's not necessarily what I'm looking for. I'm pretty much dialed into the idea that a man and a woman will always differ on some big issue, but that can be overcome with commonalities in most other issues. I'm looking for someone to impress me by knowing something about anything that's important. I might not be looking in the right place, or searching in the right way, but if it were a common thing, I would have found one by now. I think all of the ones I'm looking for, are in the Ivy League, which means that they would probably see nothing in me.

You're a number, I'm a number, can't you see?
