"In Fact" and Swedish
Getting familiar with KAT-TUN's new single In Fact. What can I say?
First of all, main song is great. I fell in love with it when I first heard it on Shounen Club Premium. It's quite KAT-TUNish. For me it's really catchy (especially the melody). The PV though is very... chaotic (at least for me). Scenes are constantly changing and it's hard to focus on anything particular. And their colorful (flowery?) outfits are amazing (Nakamaru I want your pants!!).
I also like 'Believe in Myself' - it's easy on the ear. Maybe not very relaxing but still pleasant. I can listen to it over and over again. I'd like to see a PV to this song. It's energetic and cheerful(?) - just like a song for "Going" should be.
About 'My Secret'... I'm not really a fan of ballads. It has to be really good to catch my attention and this is... mehh. I don't know what to think about it so I'll leave it at this.
'Birds' is... well, nothing original (to be honest it's quite mediocre). It's like a slightly faster ballad. I have a feeling that every time KAT-TUN release a new album/single there's a song like it. I like it though. No, not like, better say I tolerate it.
When it comes to 'Black' I have no idea what to say. Can someone explain to me what's with the opening of this song? It starts like some gangsta rap. I can't say I hate it but I certainly don't love it. I'm not sure I like it even. My feeling are, let's say neutral. I does get better after some time (and multiple 'relistening'). But I think I won't be a big fan of this one.
'Dangerous'. Another song which I can't really decide whether I like it or not. I'd be good for some kind of party but it's not my type of music. It's hard to have an opinion about this song so I'm not going to write anything about it. Maybe after more replays I'll be able to say something more. For now I have a feeling that it's very boy band-like (and I don't like this kind of songs sung by KAT-TUN, I like their rockish image).
So here it is. I like 2/3 (if we count 'Birds'... yeah, I know) out of 6. After Kusabi it's not a good score but I hope their next album (come Here ~ release on 25/06/2014) will be better.
I'm sitting here, listening to KAT-TUN's new single and writing this when I should be studying for my short test - Swedish!! Yay!! Around 100 words.
I KNOW I should be studying but I always find something more interesting to do. I'm not even halfway through! What's more I have another two (bigger!) tests tomorrow and I don't know a thing. It's going to end as it always does - I'm not going to study at all. I just hope I'll manage somehow.
