... is a whole lot of fun. Now, I know everyone is going to cry, whine, bitch, and moan, comparing this game to Devil May Cry when it has no business being compared in that fashion - it's a different game. It's a shooting game - not a Melee focused game with Shooting thrown in, like DMC is. Sure, Vincent can do a combo string, but that is mostly to knock guys down and back, so you can shoot them more! Also, don't whine about a game when you don't understand the basic game mechanics (omg, Vincent runs so slow!! - Well, that's because you're using a heavy gun and haven't used one of the accessories to reduce the weight!) when you don't know Japanese, kthx. >_>; Also, quite bitching about bosses 'pwning you' when you stand still, with your gun out, then can't run away quickly because you're AIMING.
That said, I'm rather enjoying the game - the only time I have problems is against the dog-type enemies in close quarters - sometimes, the camera can lead to a vicious bout of gangrape. The control scheme was a little odd to me at first, but I'm quite adjusted now and enjoying it - the cutscenes are magnificent, the store seems interesting from what I can glean, and the voice work is topnotch (unsurprising, coming from a Japanese company!). It makes me dread the English version of both Advent Children and it - I imagine the voicing /could/ be decent, since FFX and FFX-2's was (imo) not all that bad overall. Still.. I cringe and await.
