Shameless advertising
The annual University of Cambridge Computing Service machine room tour (organised in collaboration with the SRCF, hence my involvement) is this Wednesday at 8pm. It is open to any member of the University. Meet outside the lift on floor 3 of the Cockroft Building on the New Museums Site.
Reasons to go:
- Drooling over their equipment (actually causing drool to enter the equipment is not recommended or endorsed by the SRCF, especially whilst Bob Dowling is watching)
- Bob and Tony (fanf) who are running the tour are entertaining speakers and have many fun stories of things going wrong
- Excuse to go to the pub with us afterwards (not that an excuse is needed)
