thank you for your wishes - my Christmas was quite good :). but after all the Holidays' insanity I'm glad to be home again, especially since lack of Internet was driving me nuts :P.

aw, Nat, this looks wonderful :) I love it when pictures are made out of spices :D when I was a child my mom and I made some ourselves :)

so I guess this made a bit up for the hard work your boss put onto your lap, huh? it's really nice that they show you that you and your work are appreciated :) most people actually never really get to hear that, I think, so you're very lucky.

lol, the funny thing is that the gift wasn't from the boss that has been such a slave driver lately :P. it was actually from my other judge, the one I barely did any work for the last few months :). you're totally right about the appreciaton thing - it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside :). I also think I'm lucky that my bosses show they value me and my work :).

thanks for your wishes... sorry that I didn't answer your PM - I was so busy before leaving Warszawa and then I was cut off from Internet entirely :/. it's really good to be back - family reunions and holidays are fun but they're more fun because they happen only a few times a year. for now I'm craving some normalcy.

oh, that's unfortunate :(. well, I'm a patient woman (when I want to be :P) and good things are worth the wait, so I hope that at some point I will be able to see your collection :). I wonder if you have any 'weird' nativity scenes? for example Cracow, one of Polish cities, is quite famous (at least in Poland, heh) from its tradition of making strange nativity scenes - they resemble Cracow much more than Bethlehem and don't fit the Bible's description at all :P. but they're interesting to look at, that's for sure :)

I'm glad you're getting all excited for Christmas. This time - the week leading up to Christmas - is generally my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, it's not been so great this year. Dealing with the fallout from my wreck last week, plus working long hours, hardly being at home at all, and a complete lack of sleep has almost done me in. I appreciate busyness, but it's been a little too busy. And I really wish I got all of next week off. :(

Ok, how did this become all about me? LOL I won't damper your joy. Go and enjoy the family, food, and fellowship. This is the greatest time of the year. :D

I'm so sorry that you couldn't enjoy the pre-Christmas excitement... it's totally understandable with all the trouble you've been dealing with recently. I have to admit that quite a lot of my joy came from the fact that my judge couldn't demand me working on any verdicts during Christmas :P. less work = more sleep. my joy was quite dampered anyway, unfortunately, because right before leaving Warszawa i found out that one of my friends was in a hospital and the doctors couldn't figure out what's wrong with her. my hands were shaking when I was packing and the thought about her condition lingered at the back of my head throughout the Holidays *sighs*. but besides that my Christmas was quite good. hope yours was good as well, Tiff *HUGS*
