Home from the all-nighter mines

So, ah,
there was still too much time between finishing my paper and the opening of Main Hall's doors to spend it loafing on campus, so I headed home. Sleep was there, waiting seductively in his smoking jacket.

I couldn't resist.

Then there were the lawnmowers.
And the neighbor children.
And the church digi-bells.

Noisy domesticity shooed Sleep out of my bed, and I slowly followed.
