First formal critique today in ceramics class. Scary! Couldn't fall asleep for ages, cuz I was so embarassed by the prospect of putting my misshapen, half-collapsed, glaringly incomplete effort on public view. Looks like a headless duck, I thought. But from the class it elicits the following:

"It reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe . . . Oh, alright, I'll just say it- it looks like a vagina."

Oh, right. Enormous clay vagina. Exactly what I was going for.
