Glee was magical in the front 13 (F13) and most of that "magic" was lacking in the Back 9 (B9). Duets is the first episode that really felt organic and made me feel like I was watching Showmance or Vitamin D; I felt inexplicably happy!

This is brilliant. :) I agree with basically all of this and yeah, I also dislike seeing character hate. I find it really hard to be objective about a tv show, because obviously there's gonna be things I like and dislike, but I really want to like all of these characters. I think there are only so many things that you can file under 'negative character traits' before you start to really dislike somebody, if that makes sense. I think the writers really need to keep that in perspective. Anyway, I really love how much thought you put into all of the characters. Usually, if it's not Artie, all I can get out is 'I like how FInn finally told his side of the story.' You're right, I really feel like it was needed. I find it hard to comment on Finn's thoughts mostly because they're obviously not clear (and again, my own subjective view ( ... )
