welll....it was ..ahh...eventful to say the least.
now...yes....Jessie's Bday was in August, Ada's & Myself was in October and Houngie's was last month - Jessie never got to celebrate with HS group, and then the rest of us just had exams and didn't want to plan anything too extreme during exams. So we celebrated in December after exams. Hoorah!
Now....omg! So exhausted! I went to bed at like 6am saturday morning then
woke up at 9am!
Finished the frosting on the brownies (only the last 3 idiots (myself
included) at the hotel ate pieces! lol).
anyways..yeah...
soooo.....waiting at Serendipity, paid the remaining $10 - the lady seemed
shitty at me cause i was quoted $30 instead of $35 so she had to "honour"
that....not my fault the bloke said $30!
so yeah...waited outside for Jessie and Ada, they came..then Houng came, we
flagged a taxi, grabbed the cake..went to hotel...put cake in freezer...went to
korean place in Capitol for lunch...Pimmie came along. So then Ada & I
return to check into the hotel and dump our stuff. IT was CRAP! forgot to take a
photo of how small the actual room was! gah!
anyways...then we went back to Capitol....Houngie wanted to take those
dreamy card photo thingies....we said to take our own...ended up heading back to
hotel to dump more of Houng's stuff...came back down..and Fang came alone, and
again, i went up again (seeing as i checked in. lol) to dump Fang's stuff..went
back down..the 4 bday girls split to go shopping for bags/clothes/food &
alcohol while Pim and fang went to buy so more presents.
So...we walked up to world square, went around looking at jewllery, i ended
up buying a clutch since i was wearing a skirt and had no place to put ID,
camera, cash and lip gloss (i guess i could stuff the money down my bra or
something....roflz!). We headed to priceline to buy some body gloss and some
heat spray thingy to protect hair because some of the girls were curling their
hair using an curling wand. It was pretty amusing, cause Jenny & Fang were
curling Vi's hair...and it ended up...well....big. then errr...Jane? or Emily?
Can't remember which, Â Houng's other friends did Vi's hair quite nicely.
lol...so we were there..having make up put on..hair done......eyes being poked
out.....putting body gloss and glitter on..being girly and stuff.
So we were there getting dressed and munching on food - jenny opened almost
every packet of food. lol. and oh my god. i caved, i had McDonald's nuggets for
dinner...2 years of not eating maccas..and i ate maccas! wahhhhhh.
Anyways..so yeah...we started getting ready at like..about 5:30pm.....we
didn't leave till past 9:30pm!
but we did get there before 9:45pm (heels - hard to walk in..my feet will
never be the same again).
So yeah....lots of people...far out man! My mates (actually..i had the
least amount of mates show up! hrmph), jessie's, ada's and
houngies...gahh....don't think i met half of them. lol.
so yeah..chatting, photo taking, free champagne for us birthday girls...it
was disgusting..no wonder it was free! and i look wasted in that photo
*sobs*
and felix got me a present!! Yay felix!!
anyways. lol.
it was ahhh..the usual..i suppose. lol.
Walking around, talking, drinking, photo taking, dancing, *DOOF DOOF* farkk
man...my poor ears. So yeah....Kristina left a while to catch one of the last
trains back to UWS, then Barna showed up a while later. So more talking, walking
back & forth between groups of people, more drinking (i never got to finish
my lemon & lime bitter drink.....that's all Pim's fault. lol).
We had ppl on our guest list not show up...JERKS! and ppl who did show up
weren't on the guest list....so gah! we were paranoid we'd lose our
deposit.....so annoying. next time - no reserving..just show up! lol
So yeah...we were sitting around..timmeh and barna got into a convo about
something..then me and felix got into a convo about portfolios for design and
stuff...so we're just having cross conversations. Then Timmeh left, then Felix,
then i had to endure a shot of god knows what.."muff-diving-something-cowgirl"
or something...gahhh....1.5 standard drinks in one little shot.....dude!
so yeah..anyways.....this bit is unimportant (jennie...no announcement.
lmao). Let's seee..just before 2am, our group (well...those that were still left
over) headed over to some restaurant in goulburn st. nxt to the superbowl
restaurant.
we all just sat in there for ages not ordering lol. then i think Dan's
brother ordered.....it's a shame that in canto, everything sounds like....it's
alot. I sat there and thought "how many of us are actually eating?" lol.
XO sauce clams, chinese donuts, congee, can't remember what else cause i
ran off. lol.
Headed back to the hotel and Ada was there with her friends. So while barna
and the males of ada's group chatted, myself, ada and samantha sorta sat there
and thought "yep...okay" lol. Then barna had to go to work, 10 minutes later
Jessie and co return and as i wait for the cake to be found....fang leaves!
pffft. So 6 of us are in the hotel room (this is now 4 bday girls & pim
& jenni). We await cake to melt, oh right..and at this point, Ada leaves
with her friends to play pool at Star Bar or something...so yeah..we waited for
ada to come back before eating cake. And i dont' recall what most of us did
during this time? chatted? got changed? it's a blur. lol.
But sharkie does return at about 5:30am ish (she left just after 4am
maybe?), so we dig into the cake and are taking photos, i recall cause Houng was
trying to sleep...mwahhah. Hence no photos depicting houng eating cake. Then ada
takes a shower, houng's asleep in the bed next to the window, pim, jennie and
myself are on the other bed with jessie writing messages in the birthday cards.
oh oh oh! then ada comes out asking if anyone has make up remover (none of
us brought any - i didn't because i don't even own make up!) and we're liek
"Just wash it off" and Ada goes "i can't!!!" and her mascara is running and she
has full on panda eyes! Lol! it was amusing! sorry ada...it was hilarious! lol. she'll kill me for putting that in there.
We're pretty sure she got it off...i don't think she would've been very
happy going to the airport with those eyes. lol. But yeah....we recall Ada and
Jessie leaving i think....i think i do because i got up to lock the door.
Lol...so yeah....4 girls....6am....3 trying to sleep. lol. i was too lazy to
walk over to the other bed so i just stayed on the same bed which jennie and pim
were in..i think we eventually dozed off until we heard tapping noises on the
window....*blink blink* and there was nothing there. It was like..between a
crack and a tapping noise. and i ended up freezing sleeping ontop of the covers
in that bed so i headed off to houng's bed....then the next thing i recall is
jenni's phone going off and her taking a shower....i don't even recall her
taking a photo of us looking drugged out *and me rubbing my eyes*. Lol.....that
photo is quite amusing.
But yeah..after that i just recall asking what time is it & pim
replying it's just after 10. We were supposed to check out by 11am. So i'm up
and in the shower, then as we pack up our stuff again (there was sooo much crap
to carry) pim's int he shower & the melted ice cream cake....but
yeah..jennie's gone by then. We check out....carry our junk to paddy's to leave
it at my uncles stall...head back to world square, order smoothies (omg...it's
disgusting! pulp is not nice..no offense to anyone who works there or likes the
drinks there) then pim heads off to bus stop to go to work, me and houng return
to the Vbar, watch them rip up our deposit slip and return it to us :D :D :D
yeay!! no money lost. and then head back to grab our stuff and houng goes home.
lol. I think we all died...plus it was pretty warm sunday.
all in all - eventful. next time....if we're staying at a hotel, let's just make it so alot of us are there and we do end up playing monopoly! btw Pim, we didn't find your deck of cards! lol.
